PAL Tutoring Program
Our Tutoring program is one of PAL’s gems, and is open to all grades from 2nd to 12th. With several local high school students from the National Honors Society and Beta Club as our tutors, not only are the young children benefiting from having a one-on-one tutor, but the tutors are developing valuable life skills: dedication, patience, supervision, and responsibility.
We pair our tutors up with the students based on their strengths and the areas of needed improvement. If you feel that your child could benefit from one-on-one tutoring, you can contact the PAL CEO Laurie Nicholson. We charge only $15.00 per 1 hour session and offer sessions Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
If you are interested in becoming a tutor, send an email along with your resume’ to the PAL CEO, Officer Laurie Nicholson at lnicholson@alpharetta.ga.us.
Our tutors can either choose to be paid a competitive wage, or use Tutoring to complete service hours as part of their obligation to their service organization, such as National Honors Society.
