PAL Summer Camp Program
As with all of our programs the PAL Summer Camp program is offered at a nominal fee for all North Fulton youth. We offer summer camp Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each week to help our youth combat summer boredom and to provide a fun alternative to excessive idle time.
The current facility at the Eagle Village Gym complex in the heart of downtown Alpharetta provides a large gymnasium for volleyball, basketball, and other sports activities. Arts, crafts, guest speakers, and field trips are exciting additions to the sporting activities. Campers travel to Wills Park on a regular basis to play flag football, softball, and kickball and to go swimming at the community pool. Transportation to all events is provided by PAL.
Summer Camp is supervised by Officer Jason Cimino, coordinator of the Alpharetta PAL program, and a variety of officers and community volunteers. Off-duty officers frequently drop by to shoot some hoops or to participate in other sporting activities with the kids.
Dates: June 1 – July 31
When: Mondays – Thursdays 8am-4pm
No camp June 29 – July 2 in observance of Independence Day

Place: PAL Gym in the Eagle Village Youth Complex behind the Alpharetta City Hall
Who: All North Fulton Youth ages 8 – 14
Cost: $35 per child, per week.
Activities: Many surprises are in store for this fun and exciting summer! There will be plenty of sports, crafts, fun activities and a lot of swimming! But there will also be a wide variety of field trips to engage the imagination and the body. In addition to the field trips, we will also be having many visits from people who have fascinating jobs or have led incredible lives. Be prepared to make your motto, “Try something new!” this summer! Join in to be part of the fun!
Registration: Students currently enrolled in PAL programs or attendees of Summer Camp 2009 are eligible for Pre-Registration which lasts from March 3rd to April 24th, 2010.
After April 24th registration will be opened to the general North Fulton community on a first come, first served basis.
