PAL NYPUM Program

NYPUM is a goal-based program done in cooperation with Crossroads North Alternative School and American Honda, where students participate in classroom instruction and enjoy the practical riding experience. Students are required to establish personal goals, with the reward being the weekly rides and instruction.

The weekly meetings include twenty-one certified lessons by NYPUM and are taught on a dirt field specifically designed for this program. The course, at the American Honda Rider Education Center, includes hills and wooded trails.  The lessons cover the key points of bike operation and teach the skills necessary for safe riding in the varied situations encountered in off-road riding.
