PAL’s first Haunted House is ‘Spook-tacular’!

On October 30th, 2009 the Alpharetta Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL), hosted its first ever Haunted House at the PAL facility, located in downtown Alpharetta.

Clowns, witches, werewolves, and infamous horror movie characters collaborated to make this a fantastic event. A number of volunteers helped transform the PAL facility into a labyrinth of spooky creatures, but all made it out unscathed. Over 300 people went through the house, with many kids opting to go through several times. The characters were portrayed by a combination of police officers, their family members, and PAL participants.

PAL CEO Officer Jason Cimino said, “We really did not know what to expect, this being our first time hosting a haunted house. We had a great turnout and I received a lot of positive feedback.”

This event also served as an Open House for PAL as well. “PAL offers so many great programs for North Fulton youth, such as our after school program and tutoring. Many residents are not aware of how great PAL really is,” said Cimino.
