The 3rd Annual Jackson Healthcare/PAL 5K Challenge!

 Here is a challenge for you: 5 kilometers; 3.1 miles; 5,456 yards; 16,368 feet; 196,416 inches.  CAN YOU DO IT???

 Or the more pressing question: Can you do it faster than your co-workers?  That’s right.  This year we would like you to challenge your fellow co-worker in the 3rd Annual 5K challenge.  This year, we expect to see larger “groups” of people representing their respective companies, corporations, churches, sports groups, schools, or even departments within a company.  PAL expects to attract approximately 1,000 participants of all fitness levels (walkers, joggers, and competitive runners) from more than 50 North Fulton County companies as well as many individual participants. If you work for a small, mid-size or large company, a school, or are self-employed, join us!

 The race is on a Thursday evening, August 20th at 7:00pm.  It is after regular work hours, and the sun should be setting by that time.  You can run it, jog it, walk it, or stroll it.  Even if you don’t compete in the race, we still invite you to come out and cheer on your co-workers and join in on the festivities and silent auction during the race.  There will be a large pasta dinner at the conclusion of the race for all race participants.       

HOW IT WORKS: First, a Team Captain from each company organizes the team. Then, employees (and their family and friends) sign on and register as part of the company team.

Registration is $20 before August 10th, $25 after August 10th. Registration fees include Post-race refreshments, DJ entertainment, Family Fun Fest, Pasta Dinner, and the coveted Commemorative Technical T-shirt.
